Única Card
The Única Card allows residents to travel on all public transport-bus, train and subway- with discounts tailored to each profile (general, youth, pensioner, etc.). In addition, it offers an extra discount for frequent use within the same calendar month, rewarding those who use it the most thru its points system.
You can make two transfers using three different lines, provided no more than 60 minutes pass between exiting one line and entering another (no more than four hops will be charged).
It also allows free transfers to EMT busses; the points system does not apply.
- From TIB to EMT: You have 60 minutes from when you validate your ticket upon exiting.
- From EMT to TIB: You have 90 minutes from when you validate your ticket.
*If you travel exclusively on EMT busses, the fare is €1.15, except for the airport route, which costs €5.
Each person may only hold one card, and it is for personal use only and is non-transferable.
You must validate your ticket when entering and exiting a station; failure to do so will result in a €0.30 penalty.
How does the points system work?
Each Intermodal Card and Single Card profile has a base fare per trip that is progressively reduced with each journey taken within the same month, depending on the number of zones crossed, until the minimum fare is reached.

Pensioners and other profiles — 80% discount
Terms and conditions
Aimed at people who:
- Are aged 65 or over.
- Are recipients of a retirement pension.
- Are recipients of a widow's pension with an income below the minimum wage.
- Are recipients of a permanent disability pension, whether total, absolute or severe disability, or have a disability of 65% or more.
- Have been registered with the SOIB for more than 12 months without interruption as job seekers (long-term unemployed).
- Are certified as victims of gender-based violence.
- Are members of a large family of a special category.
- Have refugee status. These persons are entitled to free transport.
And are residents of Mallorca.

*If you receive a pension from a foreign country, it must be recognised by the competent body in matters of Social Security in Spain.
Beneficiaries of a widow's pension with income below the minimum interprofessional wage.
- Identity document, original and photocopy:: National Identity Card, passport, driving licence or Foreigner Identification Number (NIE).
- Certificate proving that you are a beneficiary of a widow's pension issued by the Provincial Directorate of the National Social Security Institute, the Social Marine Institute or the competent body in other cases,original and photocopy.
- Copy of the latest income tax return or bank income certificate.
Beneficiaries of a permanent disability pension, whether total, absolute or severe disability, or who have a disability of 65% or more.

- Certificate attesting to the degree of disability issued by the competent official body or equivalent supporting document, original y photocopy.
*If a person with a disability needs a third person to help them get around, the accompanying person is exempt from payment. In this case, original and photocopy of the certificate attesting to this need, issued by the competent official body, must be provided..
People who are long-term unemployed.

- eport issued by the SOIB (Balearic Islands Employment Service) of the uninterrupted period of registration as unemployed, with a registration date of 1 year or more (the report cannot be more than 10 calendar days old), original and photocopy.
Victims of gender-based violence.
- Identity document, original and photocopy: National Identity Card, passport, driving licence or Foreigner Identification Number (NIE).
- The person will be asked to provide the necessary documentation. Once the status of victim of gender-based violence has been verified by the relevant body, the card will be issued.
Important Note: The card is not issued immediately.
Members of a large family of a special category.
- Identity document, original and photocopy: National Identity Card, passport, driving licence or Foreigner Identification Number (NIE).
- Certificate of large family status issued in Spain or recognised by a competent Spanish authority, original and photocopy.
Refugees
- Resolution from the Ministry of the Interior granting temporary protection (processed by the police).
- Certificate of registration in Mallorca.
Important Note: This can only be processed at the offices in Alcudia, Inca, Manacor and Palma.
People with refugee status are entitled to free transport.

For persons aged between 4 and 16 residing in Mallorca.
Allows free travel on the entire TIB bus, train and underground network.
Although there is no fare, a minimum balance of €5 must be loaded onto the card. The card must be validated when boarding and alighting from the bus, train or subway. Failure to validate the card on both occasions will result in a penalty charge of €0.30.
