SFM strengthens Palma–Inca train services for the Three Kings Parade

The measure forms part of the special rail service reinforcement plan activated during the Christmas period
Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) will reinforce the Palma–Inca train service next Monday, 5 January, on the occasion of the Three Kings Parade in Palma. This additional service complements the special rail operations introduced since the end of November, before and throughout the Christmas period, as well as the overnight services provided on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
In order to facilitate travel for families attending the parade and to guarantee a comfortable and safe return journey home, SFM has scheduled three special services departing from Palma to Inca at 9:25 pm, 10:10 pm and 10:40 pm, as well as two additional services from Inca to Palma departing at 10:12 pm and 10:54 pm. These trains will stop at all intermediate stations and will operate in addition to the regular scheduled service.
This reinforcement forms part of the special weekend frequency increase programme activated on 22 November, coinciding with the switching-on of Palma’s Christmas lights, and which will remain in operation until Epiphany on 6 January, marking the end of the festive season.
As part of this initiative, aimed at encouraging the use of public transport and offering an efficient, comfortable and safe alternative to private vehicle travel, SFM has added a total of 16 special train services to the regular weekend timetable.
In addition, the railway operator has extended the departure time of the last train from Palma Intermodal Station by 15 minutes, ensuring service coverage for all stations along the route. On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, train services were also extended throughout the entire night.
