SFM provides night and additional train services for the Sant Antoni and Sant Sebastià festivities

The railway operator will run special night trains and additional afternoon services from Friday 16 January until Tuesday 20 January

Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) will operate special train services during the Sant Antoni and Sant Sebastià festivities in order to provide a safe and convenient transport option for all those travelling to the celebrations of these popular traditional festivals.

The public railway operator has scheduled overnight train services for the Sant Antoni festivities (night of Friday 16 to Saturday 17 January) and Sant Sebastià festivities (night of Monday 19 to Tuesday 20 January). In addition, reinforcement services will operate during the afternoon on Friday 16 January, and from early afternoon until the end of service at night on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 January.

Sant Antoni

For the Sant Antoni celebrations, SFM will operate additional services during Friday afternoon, including a special Palma–Sa Pobla service departing at 7:05 pm and three special Inca–Sa Pobla services departing at 8:38 pm, 9:38 pm and 11:00 pm. These services will connect with Palma–Inca trains, meaning passengers travelling from any station between Palma Intermodal and Inca will only need to change trains in Inca to continue towards Sa Pobla.

In the opposite direction, SFM will operate three additional Sa Pobla–Inca services departing at 8:15 pm, 9:15 pm and 10:15 pm, as well as a Sa Pobla–Palma service departing at 12:15 am.

SFM has also scheduled overnight trains throughout the night. Three special services will depart from Palma to Sa Pobla at 11:15 pm, 1:15 am and 3:15 am, while another three Palma–Manacor services will depart at 12:15 am, 2:15 am and 4:15 am. Return services to Palma from Manacor and Sa Pobla will also total six services, with three departures from each destination. The first train from Sa Pobla will depart at 12:45 am and the last at 4:45 am. In the case of Manacor, the first departure will be at 11:30 pm and the last at 3:30 am.

Sant Sebastià

For the Sant Sebastià festivities, SFM has scheduled special overnight services for the main festival night during the early hours of Monday 19 to Tuesday 20 January. In addition, to facilitate access by public transport to the weekend activities, train services will also be reinforced on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 January, with additional trains operating from early afternoon until the end of the evening service.

Sant Sebastià festival night

For Monday 19 January, the eve of Sant Sebastià, SFM will operate a total of twelve overnight services throughout the night between Sa Pobla and Palma and between Manacor and Palma, in both directions.

There will be three Manacor–Palma services departing at 11:30 pm, 1:30 am and 3:30 am, as well as three Sa Pobla–Palma services departing at 12:45 am, 2:45 am and 4:45 am. Departures from Palma will include six special services: three Palma–Manacor trains departing at 12:15 am, 2:15 am and 4:15 am, and three Palma–Sa Pobla services departing at 11:15 pm, 1:15 am and 3:15 am.

It should be noted that on Tuesday 20 January, the day of Sant Sebastià, train services will operate according to the usual public holiday timetable. All special services scheduled for these dates will stop at every intermediate station between origin and destination.
